The series “Wednesday” has become one of the most important premieres of Netflix this year. The Addams Family sadist’s adventures are receiving critical acclaim, and one of the scenes (the one where the girl dances at the prom) went viral on the network. Recently, lead actress Jenna Ortega revealed she was sick with COVID-19 when the dance sequence was filmed.

Ortega called the filming “terrible” due to her serious condition. Usually the girl does not get sick, but on that day her condition was deplorable.
I felt like I had been hit by a car and a little goblin had crawled down my throat and scratched the walls of my esophagus. The team put me on meds between shots as we waited for a positive result.
The actress also noted that she knew nothing about the disease at the time. When she tested positive for the coronavirus, she was immediately suspended from filming. MGM, which was in charge of the show’s production, later confirmed that it was strictly following safety protocols.
However, some users criticized the company for letting Ortega film in such a sorry state. On Reddit, they called this practice irresponsible, because an entire extra took part in the scene, who could also become infected with the corona virus.
Netflix previously released a trailer for The Witcher: Origins, which will take place 1,200 years before Geralt’s story.
