Replace the usual Christmas drink with notes of cinnamon with apricot punch. The head bartender of the Mouflon restaurant, Aleksey Ivashchenko, told socialbites.ca about this.
“This New Year, I want to move away from the usual menu and try unusual combinations. In addition to the classic version of mulled wine, we have prepared a “trendy” alternative – apricot punch that every guest can understand,” said Alexey Ivashchenko.
For cooking you will need fresh oranges, apricot jam, fireball, cognac with apricot and jam.
“You have to make it fresh first. Then add apricot cognac, a fireball with rich cinnamon notes and a slightly burning sensation, and at the end – homemade jam from fresh apricots. Warm up and get the most delicious and airy foam. You can garnish the top with dried apricots and orange zest,” concluded the chief bartender.
