Pantone Viva Magenta color of the year 2023 is more suitable for public spaces than home interiors. Mr.Doors product director designer Ksenia Kuznetsova told socialbites.ca about this.
“If we talk about the use of this color in apartments, I do not recommend using it when ordering general furniture. It’s still pretty bright and compelling,” he explained.
According to the designer, such bright colors in living spaces will not allow you to relax after a busy day, but will tone you for activities.
“It can be used with a strong desire, with emphasis on interior details. For example, in decor, textiles. If you are a fan of the style of the 70s, you can add a pouf or, for example, a sofa, ”she explained.
Kuznetsova added that Viva Magenta color is more suitable for interior design of public spaces.
“Viva Magenta is better suited for bars, restaurants and nightclubs that have the task of energizing guests. And remember that the color named Pantone each year is just a guideline to keep in mind, but you don’t have to strictly adhere to it. This is a very interesting marketing tactic that should not force you into anything, ”the designer summed up.
