Not all actors from the Lord of the Rings trilogy liked Rings of Power. Bernard Hill, best known for his role as King Theoden, criticized the Amazon show in a recent interview with Metro. When asked if he has watched the series, Hill replied: “No, not interested“.
It’s a money making venture, so I’m not interested in watching or filming. Good luck everyone, but it doesn’t look like it’s a real show.
Hill also believes that The Return of the King was the perfect ending to the franchise and that Hollywood should not have made The Hobbit.
The Hobbit is a small book. The screenshot is very, very good. They’ve expanded the universe, but I think you can only pull a piece of rubber to that extent. But The Hobbit was a success, it had a lot of good stuff in it.
