Queen consort Camilla Parker-Bowles broke an age-old tradition by planting bridesmaids at Buckingham Palace. It has been reported Mirror.
Camilla Parker-Bowles, 75, upheld her status as a vile queen by ditching her bridesmaids. Instead, the wife of King Charles III will have six companions, referred to as “the queen’s friends.” Buckingham Palace has already announced their names: Baroness Jane von Westenholtz, Lady Fiona Lansdowne, Lady Katherine Brooke, Baroness Carlene Chisholm, Lady Sarah Keswick and King Charles’ second cousin Sarah Troughton. The “Queen’s friends”, like the ladies waiting, will reportedly receive a small fee to cover their expenses.
“The queen did not want or need the ladies in expectation, and the queen’s aides will play a different role. Above all, to provide support and companionship to Her Majesty. At the end of a busy day, it’s nice to have a long-time friend by my side,” a palace source told reporters. .
Some of Camilla’s new companions will appear in public during an official reception at Buckingham Palace next Tuesday.
