Just one week after we take off our mask inside on April 26. One, two, three will be 50 years old. Invented by Narciso Ibáñez Serrador and first broadcast on Monday, April 26, 1972, the program incorporated so much energies at its best that there were audiences who used it as an analgesic. Chronic patients say that on Mondays or Fridays, when the seasons alternate, they forget to take their medication because the program acts as an anesthetic.

If our public television had the memory and the guts, which it doesn’t, it would have long ago produced a special dedicated to commemorating the birth of the best entertainment show in TVE history by all lists.

But since the house is what it is, I doubt it fell on the anniversary of someone with fact-check in it. And if so, having the audacity to prepare a custom fit for what it means. As of today, Jordi Estadella and Kiko Ledgard (the first presenter to debut on Monday) have passed away. But as soon as we allow more time to pass, it will be impossible to reunite the essences of team one, two, three. In any country where television deserves a minimum of respect for being part of popular culture, in the case of the United States and the United Kingdom, the format of one, two, three will be greatly honored. But what can we expect in Spain, where we don’t even have a Television Museum?

We came on April 26, we enthusiasts will celebrate by watching archive programs for free.
