After many years of filming, Keanu Reeves decided to try himself in TV shows. Streaming service Hulu has announced that the actor will star in the episodic drama The Devil in the White City, based on Erik Larson’s bestselling book of the same name.
The series tells the story of two men. Talented architect Daniel Burnham wants to make his mark on history with the Chicago World’s Fair in 1893. Meanwhile, Henry Holmes builds the “Murder Castle”, which would later make him famous as America’s first serial killer.
The script for the show will be written by Sam Shaw (Castle Rock, Masters of Sex) and the first two episodes will be directed by Todd Field (Todd Field; Like Little Children).
Remarkably, since 2010 the film rights to the book belong to Leonardo DiCaprio (Leonardo DiCaprio). The actor would play an important role and invited for the position of director Martin Scorsese (Martin Scorsese), but later they took the place of executive producers.
“The Devil in the White City” will have eight episodes and is set to release in 2024. The network showed a realistic bust of Lady Dee with silicone breasts
