Cosmetics brand Monolove told socialbites.ca that the level of sun filter remains in the first place when choosing an SPF product for Russian women.
The Monolove brand conducted a survey among Russian women to find out by what criteria they choose sunscreen. 1,200 women from different regions of the country participated in the research.
According to the survey, the most important thing for Russian women is the SPF level; 80.5% of participants look at this when choosing sunscreen.
“Then comes the absence of white marks; Almost half of those surveyed are not ready to put up with this. And a third of women are interested in the rapid absorption of the product. But flavor is important to only 15% of survey participants,” he said.
They also noted that the increased interest among women in the level of sun filters is due to increasing public awareness of the risks associated with exposure to ultraviolet radiation on the skin, as well as the trend towards personal care and a healthy lifestyle.
“After the pandemic, Russians began to pay more attention to health and care, including looking more closely at the composition of products and cosmetics.”
