Film company Universal stops working in Russia and closes its Russian office. That reports the Film Distributor Bulletin. It is noted that a number of cinemas have previously received the message that all activities of the company will be stopped within a few months.
In March, Universal, Warner Bros., Disney, Sony and Paramount announced that they would stop distributing their films in Russia. This led to cinemas stopping showing Western novelties. At the same time, Disney’s Russian office, although it had suspended work, did not close.
And earlier in Moscow showed the IMAX version of “Batman”.
