Empire magazine shared two new stills from the movie “Avatar: The Way of Water” (Avatar: The Way of Water), one of which graced the cover. The images introduced a brand new character – the warrior Ronal. The heroine was played by British actress Kate Winslet.
Ronal comes from the Metkaina tribe that lives on the coast of the ocean. Kate describes her character as a devoted and fearless tribal leader and a brave warrior who, even while pregnant, went into battle to protect what is most dear to her: her family and her home.
The actions of the second part will unfold 10 years after the events of the first film. The sequel will premiere on December 16, 2022, and an enhanced version of the first Avatar will hit theaters again in the fall.
