Ezra Miller helped a 25-year-old mother adopt her and her three young children on his Vermont ranch, Rolling Stone reports. Eyewitnesses are deeply concerned about what happened as a result of firearms being scattered throughout the house.
The actor met a woman in Hawaii in March and moved to his ranch a month later. The reason for the move was the conversation about the ‘cruel and abusive ex’. According to court documents, the woman accused her husband of domestic violence last year, but the case was closed as neither parent appeared in court.
Sources familiar with the situation have complained that the farm is absolutely unsafe for children. Footage from April viewed by Rolling Stone showed “at least eight machine guns, rifles and pistols scattered around the living room,” some of them lying next to soft toys. One of the eyewitnesses is said to have seen a one-year-old child pick up a bullet and put it in his mouth.
The woman denied all charges, calling the farm a “healing haven.” “My kids can relax with the safety and care that Ezra provides them,” she told Rolling Stone.
Eyewitnesses also claim that they often used marijuana in front of children, without worrying about airing the house. Journalists found out that Miller owns a large cannabis farm and, judging by photos posted on social networks, the number of varieties grown violates the requirements of Vermont law.
The children’s father tried to pick up the family and reported the incident to the Child and Family Affairs Department, but the social worker found no violations.
This is far from the first scandal Miller has been caught up in in recent months. The actor was arrested twice on charges of disorderly conduct, after which it was rumored that Warner Bros. is going to terminate the contract with the actor. Netflix is keeping “The Squid Game” in real life
