More than half of Russians do not plan to celebrate Valentine’s Day this year. socialbites.ca was told about this issue in the distribution network “Lots of Salmon” and on the resource “Control Index”.
63% of those surveyed said they would ignore Valentine’s Day. 37% of those surveyed will celebrate February 14th. Of these, 44% will spend time at home. 35% of Russians will go to a restaurant, 12% to a country hotel or spa.
The majority of respondents who will be celebrating at home said they will order rolls or pizza for delivery. 57 percent of Russians plan to have sex. 30% want to prepare a romantic dinner, and 23% want to watch their favorite movies and TV series.
Almost three-quarters (73%) of Russians plan to spend no more than 5,000 rubles on vacation, excluding gifts, and only 2% plan to spend more than 15,000 rubles.
70% of participants said they would give a gift to their other half. 84% of respondents will buy flowers, 66% will buy certificates from a cosmetics store, and 46% will buy candy.
Only 35% of single Russians plan to celebrate February 14. Most (65%) lie in the bathroom and watch their favorite movies and TV series. 56% of respondents will order rolls or pizza for delivery and 34% will go to a restaurant.
The majority of single respondents (67%) will give gifts to themselves. The most popular gift among them was money.
