In his new book, Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival, the biographer explained Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle’s impersonation of Princess Diana as their images set modern trends.
“In recent years, the Diana costume has become a hallmark of the Palace. This is not surprising, as the princess’s iconic style incorporates many of the current trends,” Scobie explained.
According to him, all of the Duchess and Princess’s outfits that in any way imitated Princess Diana’s image were discussed and agreed upon with their sons.
“At some points this seemed like a nice gesture. But sometimes you feel a slight sense of nausea when you realize that it was all organized by the very system that made Diana suffer,” the biographer said.
