Actress Yana Poplavskaya admitted she was deeply affected upon hearing about the divorce of singer Alsou. The remarks were reported by the publication Sound.

She reflected that breaking up often seems easier than sustaining a union, and if someone is truly unhappy in a marriage, remaining together for appearances serves no purpose. Living together solely for the sake of children, a notion some psychologists may endorse, struck her as misguided.

Poplavskaya expressed regret over the outcome and suggested that Alsou herself was not content in her marriage. She extended good wishes to anyone facing the end of a relationship.

The actress summed up her thoughts by noting that people must eventually reach a stage where happiness carries its own burden, a life chapter that everyone must confront.

Alsou filed for divorce on May 24, 2024, following the completion of her eldest daughter’s school studies. The singer has been married to entrepreneur Yan Abramov since 2006, the year she welcomed her first child, Safina. Their second daughter, Mikella, arrived in 2008, and in 2016 the couple welcomed a son named Rafael.

At the end of April, Poplavskaya accused Alsou of unfair advantage over her daughter on the show The Voice Children. The actress pointed out that after the controversial episode, there had been little public discussion about the singer’s heir, yet in a fair competition the girl could have become a star.

Earlier, producer Prigozhin commented that he is happy to be a supportive figure in Valeria’s life. [Source: Sound]
