Director Joe Wright (“Pride and Prejudice”, “Atonement”, “Anna Karenina”) will shoot the “M” series about Italian dictator Benito Mussolini. Reported by The Collider.

The show will be based on the novel “M: Son of the Century” by scientist and writer Antonio Scurati about the rise of fascism in Italy and its current repercussions. The script for the series was written by Stefano Bizes (Gomorrah, The New Pope) and Davide Serino (1992). The shooting of the series has not started yet, the names of the actors are also unknown.
