In 2025, the All-Russian event “Night of Museums” will be dedicated to the theme “Heroes”. This was reported by TASS Referring to the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Lyubimova.
The topic was chosen in connection with Russian President Vladimir Putin’s declaration of 2025 as the Year of Defender of the Fatherland. Lyubimova added that the theme of “Heroes” is important for preserving historical memory and strengthening spiritual and moral values in Russia, as well as for feeling proud of one’s country and its achievements.
The head of the Ministry of Culture has no doubt that the theme of “Heroes” will find a response in the museum community in different parts of Russia.
“After all, each region has its own heroes and memorable pages in the history of both the Great Patriotic War and other events important for the country. “We will return to the heroic pages of the past, we will remember the bravery of our people in different historical periods, we will listen to stories about heroes and the stories of heroes told by them,” he said.
Lyubimova added that within the given theme, museums can prepare events of various formats and contents: exhibitions, lectures, master classes and others.
