At least eight women have accused British author Neil Gaiman, known for his comic book series “The Sandman” and his novel “American Gods”, of sexual assault: Vulture.
According to the magazine, the first charges were brought in July last year. The women claim that the author sexually harassed them, as well as pressured and abused them.
The author of the article found that all the episodes occurred while Gaiman was living in the USA, England and New Zealand. Five of the potential victims were his fans, two worked for him, and his son’s former nanny, Scarlett Pavlovich, was hired by the writer’s wife. Pavlovich filed a police complaint against the man in 2023, but the case was closed.
According to the former nanny, Gaiman raped her multiple times, including once in the presence of her son. The author insisted that everything happened by mutual consent.
Last September, the third season of Good Omens and two more film adaptations based on the author’s novels were shot. suspended because he was accused of harassment.
