Singer Elton John posted on his Instagram (the owner of Meta is considered an extremist organization) an announcement of a joint track with Britney Spears called “Hold me Close”. For the artist, this release will be the first in six years.
The musician released a possible cover of the joint composition, it depicts emoji roses and rockets that carry a symbolic meaning. Spears often uses the symbol of this flower in his social media posts, and Elton John often refers to himself as Rocketman.
According to Variety, the song’s release will take place in the next few days. Britney Spears’ latest studio album, Glory, was released in 2016. After that, he did not release a single track. The new version will also be Spears’ first song since defeating her father, Jamie, in a custody case.
