The 62-year-old American actor has been formally charged with five counts of sexual assault by the UK authorities after examining evidence collected by London police during an investigation. The alleged sexual abuse cases against the actress date from 2005 to 2013. Chronologically, this coincides with Spacey’s work as artistic director of the Old Vic, one of London’s oldest theatres.
Before Spacey will pay About $31 million to the producers of House of Cards after he was fired from the show for alleged off-screen sexual harassment.
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge ordered Spacey to pay $29.5 million in damages and $1.5 million in additional fees and legal costs.
The producer of House of Cards ended his collaboration with the actor in 2017 after Spacey’s multiple allegations of harassment. During the investigation, she was accused of harassment by young men, including a member of the film crew.
