According to Averbukh, there is no universal recipe, but he sticks to one rule: he puts his phone away when he gets home.
“I am devastated, but objectively I believe that the duty of the parent is to create a good and strong world for our children, both financially and in terms of attitude. <...> “One solution: When I get home, I actually put my phone away, even though all I want to do is lie down and watch TV,” he said.
The other day, the three-year-old son of Ilya Averbukh and actress Elizaveta Arzamasova appeared for the first time on the ice. The couple also has a daughter named Leah, born on August 8, 2024. Averbukh recently admitted in an interview that he dreams of raising a girl as a figure skater. According to the athlete, this has become an obsession for him. The ice show producer hopes to see his daughter compete in the Olympics.
Averbukh also has a 20-year-old son from figure skater Irina Lobacheva. The young man lived with his famous father from the age of 13, but in 2022 he left him and moved to a separate apartment. The “Ice Age” founder emphasized that this was Martin’s adult, conscious decision and was not a family conflict.
