Stand-up comedian Ruslan Bely (known as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) admitted that life in Spain costs him much more than in Moscow. This was stated by comedian Danila Poperechny (known as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) in his YouTube podcast “Soulless”.
“When we got to Barcelona and started living, I said, ‘Wow, wow.’ This is my expense. <...> Where you won’t put your phone, [то будет] Minus 50, 44, 97 euros…” complained the comedian.
According to Bely, while in Moscow, he paid attention to gasoline prices, etc. He didn’t pay any attention. He became concerned only with immigration-related expenses. The comedian also noted that prices in Barcelona are one and a half times higher not only in Moscow, but also in Berlin.
In the same podcast, Bely doubted he would return to Russia even if “everything became safe” and his status as a foreign agent was lifted. He stated that within 2-4 years, his family will be fully integrated into European life and his daughter will go to school.
“I have a feeling I won’t [возвращаться в Россию]. But I would be very happy to fly to Moscow in the summer,” said the comedian.
Ruslan Bely left Russia shortly after the start of a special military operation in Ukraine. At first he and his wife Olga lived in Antalya, but shortly before the birth of their daughter they moved to Barcelona. The artist said that he plans to obtain a residence permit (residence permit) in Spain and a Spanish passport a year later.
Previously actor Artur Smolyaninov (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation, included in the list of terrorists and extremists) said about the decline in immigration income.
