On August 20 and 21, the Voznesensky Center will host the premiere of the audio-visual performance “Forgive me, all mine” directed by Andrey Zhiganov.
The project was based on the play “I., 9 years old” based on 19 children’s drawings by the playwright Artem Maternalsky. In the author’s opinion, the purpose of the production is to immerse yourself in the perception of an 8-10 year old child.
“We seek to pursue the quest inspired by the work of abstract expressionist artists and to reproduce the experience of a primary response to the world that is not distorted by any discourse. Both the drawings in the game and some works of this direction by artists such as Cy Twombly are freely written and work with images of everyday life, giving them a strange, unusual status. ”
The play “Excuse me, it’s all mine” is divided into three parts: a mono-performance to the music of composer Kirill Shirokov, an audio-visual installation and an alternative music concert.
