Netflix sues creators of fake historical drama ‘Bridgerton’

Netflix has sued the producers of the popular period series Bridgerton for allegedly unauthorized production of the musical. This has been reported Reuters.

According to the agency, fake authors have been accused of copyright infringement after a claim was made on TikTok for fakes. The complaint was filed against Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear in Washington federal court three days after the sold-out performance of The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical at the Kennedy Center.

“Barlow and Bear’s behavior started on social media, but it went far beyond ‘fan fiction’. This is a clear violation of intellectual property rights,” Netflix said.

Actor Joseph Quinn, who previously played Eddie Munson in the fourth season of Stranger Things, and Metallica played He performed a joint jam session with “Master of Puppets”. Quinn met with Metallica before the band’s performance at the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago. The actress admitted that she was very nervous.
