Singer and Michael Jackson’s brother Tito has died at the age of 70. An American newspaper reports this Diversity.
Tito’s death was reported by Steve Manning, a friend of the Jackson family, who said Tito suffered a heart attack during a trip to England.
He stressed that the cause of death has not been officially determined. People magazine confirmed the news from Tito’s niece, Siggy Jackson.
Tito was a member of the legendary group The Jackson 5, along with brothers Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael, who died in 2009.
The musician recently performed in England with brothers Marlon and Jackie under the Jacksons’ renewed auspices, just a week ago. Over the past 20 years he has played many gigs as a solo blues guitarist and with the BB King Blues Band.
Tito was the last of the original brothers to release a solo album; in 2016 he released Tito Time, which showcased his interest in the blues.
