Poet Alexander Shaganov told how the People’s Artist of the USSR Alla Pugacheva helped the Lyube group. nail aif.ru.
The author of the hits “Atas”, “Don’t be stupid, America!”, “I’ll go out on a horse into the field”, “War”, “There Beyond the Fog” said that the group would have become popular without the patronage of the singer, but without him in their destiny things did not work out.
“Yes, there was a moment when the first records of “Lube” were brought to Pugacheva’s apartment on “Tverskaya” by the poet Shaganov. And I am absolutely grateful to him. After all, believing in young guys and defending a young artist – “they will not let you down, they will do everything as it should” – is always a big responsibility,” he recalls.
Shaganov noted that he was shocked by Pugacheva’s statements about Russia, after she left the country after the start of a special operation in Ukraine, but urged not to cross out her lyrical songs.
“His creativity is a certain heritage of our country, a cultural layer. What is happening today… Sometimes it happens that we cannot recover as the years pass,” said the poet.
The day before was named Lube’s fee to perform at a patriotic festival.
Earlier singer Oleg Likhachev accused People’s Artist of Russia Alla Pugacheva for plagiarizing her song.
