Online cinema Wink presented a full-scale trailer for the series “Combination” about the pop group of the same name and announced the premiere date of the series, the press service of the platform reported this to socialbites.ca.
Online cinema viewers will watch the first episode on September 6, and the episodes will be released every Friday thereafter.
The series features real participants in the events: the former soloist of the group Alena Apina played a conservatory teacher and will meet on the screen with her younger self, played by Anastasia Ukolova. The role of Natalia, the wife of producer Alexander Shishinin (Nikita Kologrivy), was played by the woman’s real daughter, actress Ulyana Kravets. The group’s composer Vitaly Okorokov came to the shooting to talk with Vladimir Kanukhin, who embodied his image in the series.
Tatyana Ivanova, played by the group’s current soloist Elizaveta Bazykina, will also appear on the screen.
“The history of the group’s creation is quite interesting, but I was surprised that it inspired someone to make a whole movie about it. I’ve already watched some episodes, and there are many moments that take me back years, especially the touching shots with my family,” says Ivanova.
The eight-part biography will tell about the creative path of the members of the female pop group “Combination”: Alena Apina, Tatyana Ivanova, Olga Akhunova and Yulia Kozyulkova – performers of the hits “Russian Girls”, “American Boy”, “ Don’t Forget” and “Accountant”.
