As RTVI noted, Troitsky stated in a commentary that he was “arrested” in Novorossiysk. However, the publication assumes that the musician was only detained, since the arrest warrant was issued by the court.
Troitsky also said he is currently in the hospital with a concussion. The musician did not provide any further details on the matter.
On August 10, Sergei Troitsky’s concert took place in Novorossiysk. The musician performed at the event with his “Spider Orchestra” project.
At the concert of the group “Metal Corrosion” in Nizhny Novgorod in April this year was detained bandleader Sergei “Spider” Troitsky, two guitarists and about 40 spectators. Security forces entered the club, stripped visitors of their clothes and searched them for tattoos.
The group’s manager, Maria Runova, explained that the security forces were interested in the group’s products – they featured “ancient Slavic symbols in the form of various sun images with rays bent in a circle.” On the same day, it became known that the court fined Troitsky 1 thousand rubles for displaying Nazi symbols. He was found guilty of an administrative offense. The same amount of fines were imposed on the detained musicians.
