Petersburg Petrograd Court opened a criminal case against Valery Shlyafman, who is accused of killing singer Igor Talkov in absentia. This is reported by TASS.

Shlyafman is accused of committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 15, paragraph “d” Art. 102 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR (attempted premeditated murder), paragraph “e” of Art. 102 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR (premeditated murder committed in a manner that would endanger human life). The case materials have already been handed over to the judge.

In June 2024, the case of the murder of singer Igor Talkov was completed, 33 years after his death.

Talkov was shot behind the scenes of the Yubileiny Sports Palace in St. Petersburg on October 6, 1991: according to investigators, Shlyafman argued with Igor Malakhov, bodyguard of singer Aziza, over the order of the artists’ performances and tried to shoot his rival, but shot Talkov.

The result was: EstablishedDuring the conflict behind the scenes of the Yubileiny Sports Palace, Shlyafman mortally wounded Talkov while trying to shoot him with a pistol.
