Stranger Things writers Brothers Ross and Matt Duffer have announced that the final season episodes will be shorter than the fourth season episodes. The lyrics are reported by Deadline.
“4. The season lasts almost two hours: you get to know the characters, look at their lives like how they struggled to fit in in high school. It is clear that neither of these will happen. [в пятом сезоне]Matt Duffer said.
At the same time, according to the screenwriters, the finale of the series will continue as a feature film. “We’re probably going to do the same thing we did in season four, i.e. we’re only going to do an episode of two and a half hours,” Duffer said. He added that the ending will be in the vein of Return of the King, with eight endings.
The Duffers also clarified the fate of Max (Sadie Sink), who fell into a coma after a fight with Vecna at the end of season four. They said Maxi was alive but “brain dead”.
