In Switzerland, Netrebko’s speech was canceled in the background of a conference on Ukraine 17:40

The performance of opera singer Anna Netrebko in Switzerland was canceled. This was reported by RIA News.

Netrebko’s concert was supposed to take place in Lucerne on June 1. According to the publication, the performance was canceled at the request of the authorities due to the upcoming Ukrainian conference.

In August 2023, Netrebko went to court to demand the recovery of $ 360 thousand from New York’s Metropolitan Opera Theater. He is seeking such compensation for canceled performances.

At the same time, in March, arbitrator Howard Edelman ruled that the management of the Metropolitan Opera Theater in New York must pay Netrebko $ 200 thousand as compensation for unsuccessful performances.

In September, TASS reported that the Berlin State Opera would continue its collaboration with Anna Netrebko. The theater noted that they will continue to work with the Russian artist since he has not been active in Russia recently and does not plan to do so in the near future.

Previously Anna Netrebko bought property in Dubai.
