Christopher Nolan’s film about American physicist and atomic bomb inventor Robert Oppenheimer was shown with warning signs in Japan, the only country in the world to suffer a nuclear bomb. Notices were posted at the entrances of Japanese cinemas stating that the film showed nuclear tests, which may serve as a reminder of the damage caused by the bombings.
