The feature film about the life of Hero of the Russian Federation Mergen Dongak, who achieved great success in the Northern Military District, will be shot in Russia. In this respect TASS said Vladislav Kafeev, producer of the film company “Wind of Change”.
“We plan to start shooting the feature film about Russia’s Tuva Hero Mergen Dongak in 2025. We met Mergen while he was preparing a documentary almanac about the heroes of the Northern Military District. Of course, its success was impressive, so it was decided to make a feature film,” Kafeev emphasized.
According to him, most of the shooting will take place in Tuva, Khakassia and the Krasnodar Territory. Honored Artist of Altai and Tyva Amada Mamadakov was invited to play the role of Hero of Russia. The producer announced that Mergen Dongak will actively participate in the shooting process and will be consulted. Kafeev also did not exclude the possibility of shooting on the territory of the LPR.
Mergen Dongak was awarded the title of Hero of Russia for his courage and heroism in the Northern Military District. The soldier took the wounded commander out from under fire and took over the command himself, despite the superior enemy forces. Dongak managed to withstand the enemy’s attack and put it to flight.
