“Crimean museums signed direct agreements with the Amsterdam museum stating the museum’s obligation to return exhibits to specific museums. “Auction houses in the West are aware of legislation prohibiting the sale of illegally seized or exported items,” he emphasized.
At the same time, Muradov admitted that Kiev could use the decision of the Dutch Supreme Court to justify the right to trade these valuable assets, noting that the West and unfriendly countries could accept this justification.
