General Director and Artistic Director of Helikon Opera Theater Dmitry Bertman talked about the termination of contracts with foreign partners. Quoted TASS.
“I canceled all my contracts with foreign theaters,” said the director, noting that one of the contracts was paused.
He emphasized that theater soloists continue their European tours.
“Recently our soloist sang at the Vienna State Opera, now another soloist is singing. “Another one sings a lot at Covent Garden, one at the Metropolitan Opera,” he explained.
According to the artistic director, the theater is currently opening “new venues”. He added that Helikon Opera recently toured Thailand and attended the International Music and Dance Festival in Bangkok. In Thailand, Russian artists presented new items: Verdi’s opera “Aida”.
