American band Linkin Park posted a teaser on Twitter for an unreleased track featuring vocals from Chester Bennington, who passed away in 2017.

“We leave for no reason. We pull the trigger on a futile war. If we come back and fall into darkness then what are we fighting for? What are we fighting for? It’s just friendly fire,” the song says.

NME edition emphasizesThe song was supposed to appear on the rock band’s latest album, “One More Light.” Meanwhile, Linkin Park founder Mike Shinoda admitted that he loved this track even though it was not released. There is no release date accompanying the current teaser, so it is not yet known when the song will be released.

In February 2023, the band released a video for the song “Lost” from the cult album Meteora. The composition, featuring vocals by Chester Bennington, remained unreleased for almost 20 years.
