Russian singer Irakli Pirtskhalav (Iraqi) was once again denied entry to Moldova. The publication reports that NewsMaker.md.
Pirtskhalava was supposed to perform in one of the nightclubs in Chisinau, but he could not cross the border. Border Police spokeswoman Raisa Nowicki told the publication that the singer “did not meet the entry requirements.” The artist plans to appeal this decision in court.
“Since the reason for rejection is unimportant, we plan to resolve the issue through court. “I met with lawyers, we plan to file a lawsuit and fight for our rights,” he said.
On December 23, RIA Novosti reported that the artist was not allowed to enter Moldova. While the press service of the Moldovan border police did not provide detailed information to the institution about this incident, it noted that 39 people were refused entry to the country only in the last 24 hours. Moldovan officials also did not comment on the situation.
