“The Voice” director Andrei Sychev admitted in an interview with TV presenter Yana Churikova that the master Alexander Gradsky had conflicts with the project employees.

“Gradsky was shouting so much about our television activities, ‘you’ve ruined the pop world with your entertainment…’ He didn’t need anything,” the director said.

Sychev noted that Gradsky personally watched how the number of participants was displayed. Depending on the director, the artist may show how to adjust the lighting or ask for graphics he doesn’t like to be removed.

As Sychev noted, Gradsky hated everything related to the staging and embellishment of numbers. He was only interested in what was happening “within the artists themselves” and their vocals.

Sychev explained that some “Voice” mentors want to make large productions from the performances of their participants. The director believes that this is not necessary.

“In this project, there is no need for people to dance around the participants or for there to be chairs around. It’s like boxing; they went to boxing, there is no need to intervene, only the beautiful girls got through the rounds and that’s it,” Sychev explained.

Previously Sergei Shnurov returned to the program “Voice”.
