“There is blood on the asphalt” Director of “Words of a Child” Zhora Kryzhovnikov admitted that the creators re-shot and re-filmed the series, starting from the first episode. The director shared this in his meeting with the YouTube project “What to see”.
“In the first episode, the conversation between Alexander and Andrey in the toilet is re-shot and Novo-Tatar tells him what happened. In the fifth episode, we shot a big episode at the school where Marat speaks Tatar to Aigul and brings candy. Because before that there was a kiss, and the next day he came immediately,” the director recalled.
According to the director, the creators of the series decided to expand the love line of Marat and Aigul during editing. They had to shoot new scenes with the characters.
In the same interview Kryzhovnikov acceptedIt was intended for only three seasons of the series. He planned to devote each season to a specific year (1989, 1991 and 1993). According to the director, these periods are strikingly different from each other and he calls these periods “different worlds”. The producer explained that he also lived through those times and remembered them very well.
