On Thursday, a ballet evening dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the birth of the ballerina People’s Artist of the USSR Ekaterina Maksimova will be held on the Historical Stage of the State Academic Bolshoi Theater of Russia (SABT). This was reported by TASS.
The event will feature various plays such as Giselle and The Nutcracker. The evening was organized with the support of Maximova’s husband and partner, People’s Artist of the USSR Vladimir Vasiliev, who will also perform on stage.
The night organized in memory of Maximova attracted great attention from the audience, and all tickets for the event were sold out in advance. Ekaterina Maksimova was a famous ballerina and teacher; Her duet with Vladimir Vasiliev was recognized as the best in the world.
