Sergei Troitsky (“Spider”), leader of the thrash metal band “Corrosion of Metal”, was detained in the capital’s Oktyabr cinema for drinking alcohol in a public place. Troitsky himself said this in an interview TASS.
According to the musician, he and his comrades performed “with 10 bottles of vodka” in “October”, when the premiere of the movie “Brother-3” took place. During the “show”, security guards took Troitsky and other participants who had consumed alcohol from the stage to the dressing room, and then called the police.
The musician complained that he and his friends were accused of drinking alcohol in public, despite the fact that vodka and beer were freely sold in the cinema bar.
Police confirmed Troitsky was arrested for violating public order but declined to comment further.
