Boris Khlebnikov’s film “Bullfinch” received the main prize of the Golden Eagle Award. This was reported by TASS.
“As a participant in this project, I was very touched and proud of the interest shown by academics to this painting. I believe that, apparently, with you, Boris Khlebnikov turned into a great national figure, a great national artist,” said Snegir producer Sergei Selyanov.
He was given a statuette at the award ceremony at Mosfilm; The award was presented by Mosfilm General Director Karen Shakhnazarov.
According to the plot of the film, the script of which Khlebnikov wrote together with Natalia Meshchaninova, the crew of the fishing ship “Snegir” gets caught in a storm. The script is adapted from Georgy Vladimov’s novel “Three Minutes of Silence”.
The film stars Alexander Robak, Timofey Tribuntsev and Makar Khlebnikov.
