British actor Tom Hollander recalled that an agency transferred him a percentage of the first Avengers gross, thus confusing him with Tom Holland. The Pirates of the Caribbean star talked about this on the show. “Late Night with Seth Meyers”.
“We worked with the same agents. I was sitting smugly one day, having just finished a $300,000 show on the BBC. During the break I checked my email and received an email: “Payment receipt for The Avengers’ first box office bonus.” Hollander recalled.
The actor admitted that the check represented a large sum and stated that it was just a bonus from the initial sales of the superhero action movie.
“And that was the most money I’ve ever seen. A seven-figure sum,” Hollander said.

According to the star, he is currently in active talks with Marvel about what his character’s fourth appearance could potentially look like.
