The head of Netflix’s film division will leave the company

Netflix streaming service president Scott Stuber will be leaving the company. In this respect reports Bloomberg.

He plans to launch his own media company in March 2024.

Stuber joined the company in 2017, and under his leadership, Netflix Films has become one of Hollywood’s most successful film studios. Under his management, Netflix began producing more franchise-based content and cut its animation department; cartoons for the studio are now drawn by contractors.

Under the producer’s management, famous directors such as Alfonso Cuaron, Spike Lee, Martin Scorsese, Greta Gerwig and Zack Snyder started working with Netflix.

Netflix service became unavailable to subscribers from Russia after a special operation started in Ukraine.

Netflix in 2023 sent Latest DVD by mail. The last disc the company sent was “True Grit” (2010), directed by Joel and Ethan Coen.

It was announced that the outdated service still had thousands of subscribers at the time of its closure.
