Ivan I. Tverdovsky’s film “Panic Attacks”, which won the Winter Film Festival Grand Prize, will be released in Russian cinemas on January 25. This was announced by distributor Reflexion Films.

The audience premiere will take place on January 22 at the Cinema Park Mosfilm cinema, on January 24 in St. The leading actor Sergei Dvoinikov will be staged in St. Petersburg, and Ivan I. Tverdovsky will be staged in Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg and Moscow.

According to the plot, Vika suffers from panic attacks and nervous symptoms. A Russian woman who arrives in Norway commits a crime, the reasons for which are not easy to find.

The main roles in the film are Elena Tronina (“Aurora”, “Identity”, “Happy Ending”), Sergei Dvoinikov (“Kidney”, “Taurus”, “Podolsk Students”, “Dislike”), Daria Savelyeva (“Hello Mom”, “ Holidays”, “Nadezhda Factory”), Svetlana Kamynina.

Filming took place in the border towns of Nikel and Zapolyarny, as well as in Moscow. Norwegian actors came to Russia especially for filming.

According to the director, he had long wanted to work on the history and environment of Norwegian territory, and one of the underlying factors of Panic Attacks was his observations of the town of Nikel.

“This is not a true story of a single crime. “Considering that there are legends about Norwegian prisons and that this type of prison is the basis of many comedy films, I wanted to understand this situation and the environment on a different level,” he says.

The film also received the Best Actor (Dvoinikov) award at the Winter Film Festival.
