In December, director Mikhalkov said that he did not consider Eldar Ryazanov’s work as cinema. The director said his colleague’s films were good in terms of drama, so they were “good and fun to watch”. However, Mikhalkov believes that cinema is built differently. For him, it is a “living thing”.
Mikhalkov declared that films should be in the cinema, as Eldar Ryazanov did. The director’s best film is the comedy “The Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath!” He stated that he thought it was. – Mikhalkov emphasized that everything coincides in this: both dramaturgy and good performance skills.
