A report was prepared against writer Dmitry Bykov (recognized as an agent of foreign media in the Russian Federation) for his alleged participation in undesirable organizations. This was reported by TASS With reference to the Moscow Nikulinsky Court.
According to the publication, the protocol is based on Article 0.33 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. (participation in the activities of a foreign or international non-governmental organization, it was decided to recognize it as undesirable). Bykov may face a fine of up to 15 thousand rubles. The hearing date of the case has not been determined.
Dmitry Bykov Bykov is a member of the Writers’ Union of Russia and a two-time winner of the National Bestseller literary award. Following the start of the SVO, he left Russia for the United States and was added to the list of foreign agents in July 2022. In June 2023, the court fined him 40 thousand rubles for posts he made on his Telegram channel without the sign of a foreign agent.
