Actor and musician Dmitry Pevtsov criticized in his speech news.ru The films “Under Pike’s Order” and “The Bremen Town Musicians”.
Pevtsov said that the projects were of poor quality and lacked originality. The artist described “The Bremen Town Musicians” as a “regrettable attempt” to remake the famous cartoon of the same name.
Pevtsov also said that the film “At the Order of Pike” was a “perverse and inverted attempt” to tell Russian fairy tales. The actor believes that both films were shot poorly despite their success at the box office. He expressed his concern about the audience watching such a movie.
“I don’t like that they are deceived like this, but unfortunately such a story exists. The person paying the money doesn’t want to feel stupid. And he will watch it to the end, suffer and try to understand what is good in this movie, that television is so inviting to watch it that everyone rushes to it,” Pevtsov said.
It was known that the movie “Bremen Town Musicians” would be shot in January. collected 1 billion rubles at the Russian box office on the fourth day after the premiere. Thus, the movie became the second movie to exceed the billion mark in 2024, after “Slave-2”.
