Last December, a video of a little boy dancing to the song “I’m Russian” at singer SHAMAN’s concert in Irkutsk went viral. The head of the artist’s press service, Anton Korobkov-Zemlyansky, told socialbites.ca that on the eve of the Old New Year, SHAMAN called the boy via video link, congratulated him on past holidays and gave him a New Year’s gift.
“Yaroslav sent him the gift the man had received on Old New Year and called the boy to personally congratulate him,” he said.
In recordings of the video call, the singer is seen giving the boy a keychain, an autographed photo of himself, as well as a sweatshirt, a hat and a shopping bag with the words “I’m Russian” written on it. Additionally, SHAMAN wished the child and his family “best wishes, health and happiness.” In his conversation with the artist, the boy stated that he “really liked” the gifts.

The child’s mother stated that during the concert, the artist passed through security and gave the child a signed photo and a T-shirt, but she was still upset that SHAMAN did not pay attention to her personally.
