Director Zhora Kryzhovnikov, on her Instagram account (the owner of the Meta company is known as an extremist in Russia and was banned), recalled how she quarreled with actor Sergei Burunov because of a parody.
“We met on Big Difference, where I was the director, and Sergei was shining like a star. Then we quarreled on the set of the parody of Potap and Nastya and did not communicate for a long time, but we forgot everything and started over. In the role of Marat’s father, there is a lot that is close to me personally, there is also a lot from my father,” said Kryzhovnikov.

He admitted that the idea of inviting Burunov to this role seemed crazy to him at first, but after tests with Ruzil Minekaev and Ivan Yankovsky, “the magic happened” and the actor was approved for the role of Marat’s father.
Andrei Zolotarev, the screenwriter of “A Boy’s Word”, stated that he understood the possible success of the film, but did not expect the scale to be so large. As for the rest of the story, he said there is no final answer. HE saidIt was said that there would be stories about the heroes in the series for two more seasons.
