Comedian and showman Garik Kharlamov lost more than three million rubles in the restaurant business. Telegram channel reports this “Zvezdach”.
According to the publication, Nevskie Melodies LLC, founded by Kharlamov, lost 3.2 million rubles. The company’s revenue amounted to 29 million rubles for 2022. The company’s main activity is restaurants and food delivery services.
In July, the Telegram channel “Most CREAM” reported that Kharlamov won the case regarding the franchise of the “Hot Dog Bulldog” restaurant. According to the publication, in the spring of 2022, restaurateur Levon Sedrakyan from Rostov decided to franchise Hot Dog Bulldog rolls and paid 550 thousand rubles for this, but Kharlamov’s company did not provide the trademark rights to the partner.
In this context, Sedrakyan appealed to the court. However, Hot Dog Bulldog LLC countersued, claiming that it had been paying royalties and marketing fees to Sedrakyan all along. The court sided with Kharlamov, obliging the restaurant operator to pay a fine of 1 million 635 thousand rubles.
Previously Producer Rudkovskaya was sued for copyright violations.
